A chair massage is a 15-20 minute, fully clothed massage that focuses on the upper body. The massage is performed on an ergonomically designed portable massage chair. The therapists are trained to manipulate the areas of greatest tension, including the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands, by using massage and acupressure points to help calm the nervous system.

No oils are used in chair massage but are available if requested. Chair massage was designed to be an oil-less massage, however a light moisturizing cream or oil can be used if the attendee or employee requests it.
Before each massage session massage therapists wash their hands and clean and disinfect the massage chair and face-rest and apply a fresh face-rest cover.
Just ask! Our massage therapists are trained to adapt to a wide variety of body types and sensitivities to pressure.
At the beginning of the massage the therapist will ask if you have any specific concerns. If you’d like the massage therapist to focus on one specific area, just ask.
Don’t mistake the relaxation you feel after a massage for being tired and sleepy. Most people carry a lot of tension around and don’t know it. The therapists bring the body back into balance by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system and calming down the anxious or over stimulated fight or flight response.
Gratuities are not required however, the therapists do greatly appreciate the extra bit of acknowledgment of a job well done!

Chicago Massage Company takes pride in its screening and interview process in determining if a massage therapist measures up to the level of performance that has made us the #1 provider of onsite massage. Our therapists are interviewed by our area managers all over the United States, and are given a hands-on demonstration from the therapist when it is possible. Larger major markets and cities across the country make it easier for us to accomplish this in a timely manner.
No refunds will be provided for deposits or cancellations received less than 24 hours before a scheduled event. For conventions, trade-shows and events, we recommend starting with 6- 10-minute chair massage sessions and are adjusted according to traffic. For corporate massage, 15-20 minutes is generally preferable. 15 minute routines are normally taught in most massage schools.
Very little space is required – usually a 5×6 foot area is sufficient for the massage therapist to set up the chair and equipment and have enough room to move around the chair easily.
Of course! Our certified reflexologists provide foot, hand and ear massages in a zero gravity chair called a La Fuma Recliner, which is the Rolls Royce of reflexology chairs. Participants are treated to a 15-20 minute session where anatomical points on the feet, hands and ears are massaged to treat different issues.
This depends on the size and location of the event. For smaller events with one or two therapists in larger cities, a minimal advance booking is required. However, for larger events and events in remote areas or multiple cities, we appreciate a minimum of two weeks’ advance notice.
